Arthur Burton started out in radio in 1975, when as a brash young DJ who first broadcast on the London Station Sun Radio. He was a member of the Radio Jackie staff in theose sunny mid- seventies days too! Arthur has been a presenter on many stations in the UK and throughout Europe, including Radio Caroline when it was on the high seas (as mentioned in the best selling book “POP went the Pirates” written by Keith Skues ISBN 0 907398 03 0), He helped set-up Radio Nova in Italy, was on the extremely popular RFL/Radio Free London, has been programme controller on LMR/London Music Radio (in both it’s incarnations), did breakfast on RFM/Rock FM in its pirate days and was programme controller and head of production during its brief period as a legal station doing RSL broadcasts. He was drive presenter on Brighton Festival FM/Adur FM - a station(s) that featured Johnnie Walker, Mike Mendoza and Adrian Juste. He has also featured on The Edge -the International short wave station as both presenter and Programme Controller, EKR/European Klassic Rock- the Satellite radio station, Laser Hot Hits- Short Wave, OMR/ Offshore Music Radio-The Internet Station and hosted breakfast on the Special celebration station that airs every August- Swinging Radio England. In more recent times he did the breakfast show on Skyline Radio in Southampton as well as the re-incarnated and highly successful RNI/ Radio Northsea International on the net. He has done many voice overs and production work in the past for Radio Caroline, Radio Luxembourg, and on early commercials aired on Capital Radio and LBC when he was head of production at a company in London’s W1 in the late 70’s.<
